A global pandemic has not deterred the L&D initiatives of RapidValue, and if anything, it has only strengthened it. The organization has come up with various strategies in the past few months to ensure that the employees are constantly learning and growing along with the company. Some of the notable initiatives are the virtual knowledge transfer sessions, the online certifications, and the internal certification program.
Outside.In is an L&D initiative that connects experts from outside the organization with the RapidValue team, enabling the associates to gain insights from the expertise of the speaker. The first session of the Outside.In virtual training series was recently conducted and led by Shamly Surendran, Senior HR Manager, Cabot Solutions. The session focused on the tips to follow while hiring the right talent by comparing the past and present industry trends.
Internal Virtual Sessions
Internal sessions are arranged on various topics spanning across technical ones like ‘Katalon,’ ‘API Security,’ ‘Kotlin,’ ‘ReactJS,’ ‘TestNG Framework,’ and ‘TestProject Tool’ to generic ones like ‘Adapting to the Virtual World,’ and the like. These sessions are led by subject matter experts from within the organization. Some of the internal HR L&D sessions include the ‘Learning Guild Series’ and ‘Idia Dialogue Series.’ Both the series focus on knowledge sharing within the team using corroborative materials.
Online Certification Programmes
The associates have also been encouraged and aided to take up various online certifications across key areas like AWS, Oracle, Software Testing, and Microsoft leveraging online channels like Udemy, Coursera, Alison, Hyrist, Hubspot and so on. In addition to that, the organization also provides an internal certification program titled ‘Design and Architecture Certification Programme’ for all the technical leads. This is a one-year program aimed at building high-performance global systems at an enterprise scale.
Learning and Development plays a pivotal part in the growth of any organization.
